Woolwine Elementary School announced the names of its top readers in the Warrior Reading program during the first quarter.
Each student who reached their grade level goal received a free snack, a certificate, and a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut through the Book-It program. In addition, students who read the most books in each grade level also received a free book.
The top readers are: Pre-K–Elly Griffin, Kindergarten–Sterling Martin, First Grade–Patience Dillon, Second Grade–Caine Haden, Third Grade–Blake Belcher, Fourth Grade–Lacie Bullins, Fifth Grade–Ainsley Lawson, and Sixth Grade–Analeigh Jones.
Elly Griffin in Pre-K read 70 books.
Sterling Martin in Kindergarten read 30 books.
Patience Dillon in First Grade read 19 books.
Caine Haden in Second Grade read 49 books.
Blake Belcher in Third Grade read 1,236 pages.
Lacie Bullins in Fourth Grade read 3,939 pages.
Ainsley Lawson in Fifth Grade read 3,503 pages.
Analeigh Jones in Sixth Grade read 3,750 pages.
