Washer won’t seek GOP nod

Justin Washer, who planned challenge Del. Charles Poindexter for the 9^th District GOP nomination, will run as an independent.

Washer, 28, on April 4 announced his petitions for the June primary were declined by the party.

Washer also announced he will run as an independent for the post currently held by Poindexter, R-Glade Hill.
