WES holds Share the Fun contest

Share the Fun participants on the Woolwine stage.

Woolwine Elementary School held its 4-H Share the Fun competition on Friday, December 2, 2106 at 1 p.m. in the school auditorium.

The theme was “Sweet Sensations;” The stage was decorated with big pieces of peppermint candy and colorful lollipops.

The program had ten acts and the top three blue ribbon winners were: Taylor Edwards, first place, singing “King of the World;” Second place was Nolan Poperwitz playing “Star Wars” on his saxophone. Placing third, singing “God is on the Move” were Maria Turner and Jessica Conner. Also receiving blue ribbon was Stephanie Rodriquez, singing “Me Without You.”

Participants receiving red ribbons were Lee Ann Plessinger, Caitlin Bouldin, Samantha Stewart, Mallory Dehart, Lilly McDowell, Autumn King, Emma Hutchins, Jordan Biggs, Allison Hughes, Danay Garcia, and Gavin Scott.

A special thanks goes to the three judges, Lindsey King, Kelly Durham, and Amber Scott. Emcees for the program were Lanie Hopkins and Corby Boyd. The program was directed by Julie Brown, Victoria Stevens and Joan Turner.
