The Patrick County Recreation Department is sponsoring a Patrick County Winter Clinic for soccer this weekend.
The clinic will be held Friday, January 6, at Rotary Field in Stuart from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for ages 8-11 and 7:30 to 9 p.m. for ages 12-18.
Cost for the clinic is $15 per athlete. If money is tight, sponsorships are available. Register at www.ecsocceracademy.com.
The director of the clinic is Enda Crehan from Galway, Ireland, who is the head coach at Patrick Henry Community College. He holds a UEFA B license, US Soccer Youth license, NSAA Premier license and FAI Level 1. He is also the director of the PYSL Soccer in Martinsville.
Staff coaches Anton Traquair and Matt Beaton, both USSF licensed and college assistants at PHCC, will also be present.
