BedandBreakfast.com, the world’s largest B&B travel site, announces the second annual B&B Innovator of the Year Award to recognize industry pioneers who constantly evolve their business and hospitality offerings to attract guests and increase reservations.
BedandBreakfast.com’s top award goes to Cindy and Gary Hoback of the 100-acre Wolf Creek Farm in Ararat. As the B&B Innovator of the Year, the Hobacks win a $1,000 Amazon gift card and a plaque to display.
The innkeepers created a Motorcycle Manor at Wolf Creek package that includes tools, air, a washing station, and indoor storage for motorcycles and gear.
The Hobacks also provide a washer and dryer for guests who travel light and may need to clean clothes. Plus, they offer information on recommended rides along the Blue Ridge Parkway.
“Gary and I are motorcyclists ourselves and understand what they need when they travel,” Cindy Hoback said. “We have seen our revenue increase 15 percent since adding the Motorcycle Manor lodging experience this past year.”
BedandBreakfast.com also recognizes two runners-up: innkeeper Jeanette Robinson of the Frederick William House in Falmouth, Mass., and Cheryl Farruggia of Cloran Mansion Inn in Galena, Ill.
BedandBreakfast.com is the world’s largest B&B site. With more than 12,000 properties worldwide, the site helps travelers discover and book unique small hotels, inns and B&Bs. Based in Austin, BedandBreakfast.com is owned by Expedia Inc.
