Your Water Drinking Guide: Are You Drinking Enough?

Did you ever wonder where the idea came from that we should drink 8 glasses of water each day? No one actually really knows, but here is an easy and fun way to make sure you get all the water your body needs each day. Only drink the amount needed for the areas you want to preserve!

Just think of all the problems that people seem to develop as they grow older, and use this formula to prevent these pesky problems from becoming something you have to deal with and to avoid them for as long as possible.

Drink 2 glasses for your brain when you wake up. This will help you to think clearly much better than a cup of coffee or tea. This may also help your memory, and help you to stay clear of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease as you age, and help you to stay sharp for those early morning classes that seem so hard to figure out.

Drink 2 glasses for your eyes, as soon as possible either before or after breakfast. This will help you focus better as soon as possible in the morning, and will help you to avoid cataracts when you are older.

Drink 2 glasses for your heart. Keeping enough water in your heart so that it can keep pumping blood throughout all of your body and not get tired or have clots in your veins, will decrease your risk of a heart attack, stroke, and blood clots which can definitely put the brakes on your fun activities.

Drink 2 glasses for your knee joints. Want to avoid getting pain in the joints of your body? Especially the knees? Keep the joints well lubricated with at least one glass of water for each knee. They will last many years longer before needing to be replaced.

Well, that is 8, but I still want at least one glass of pure water to keep my skin healthy and vibrant looking without wrinkles for a few more decades, so I will take an extra drink just to be sure. And one more for my muscles so they will not be stiff and sore when I just do ordinary work, or when I wake up in the morning.

And all the other organ systems will get their share, just by tagging along. So, drink up!
