Now in it’s sixth year, the Floyd Auto Fair and Vintage Swap Meet, presented by Chasing SS Cars, will return to Chantilly Farm on the weekend of August 19-21 and is expected to draw vendors and participants from around the region.
Vendors display everything from vintage signs and memorabilia to classic car parts and other interesting tools and gadgets. The event has also proved to be a great opportunity for auto enthusiasts to network with one another and share their passion.
A judged car show is planned for the Saturday portion of the event and participants are required to register by noon at a cost of $15. A wide variety of categories are available for cars, trucks, ratrods and motorcycles ranging from early to late model entries. Trophies will be presented to the winners in each category.
Cruise-in cars are also welcome and pay regular admission fees with no additional charge.
Live music will be provided by the Cadillac Ranch band on Saturday and contests will take place throughout the weekend. Food and beverage will be available on-site throughout the weekend.
The Floyd Auto Fair operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is $6 daily. Kids 12 and under are admitted for free. For information, call Erik at (540) 789-7898.
