Arthur Tommy Goins, 74, of Pilot Mountain, N.C., died Saturday, September 17, 2016, at his home.
He was born in Patrick County on March 21, 1942, and was a son of the late Arthur Lester and Callie Mae Keith Goins. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Michelle Goins; and a sister, Mary Magdalene Bowman.
He was a retired brick mason.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Joyce Bowman Goins; daughters, Vicky Goins Stone and Tammy Goins Rogers; one son, Tommy Dennis Goins; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Glennis Henderson.
A graveside service was held Tuesday at Carter Chapel-Goins Family Cemetery with the Rev. Don Fellows, Bro. Anthony Rogers and Bro. Harlow Goins officiating.
