Ash Leigh Bowman Nester

Ash Leigh Bowman Nester, age 30 of Hillsville, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022, at SOVAH-Martinsville. She was born in Patrick County on June 26, 1992. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Lawrence Elmer Quesenberry, Sr.; and her paternal grandmother, Sheila Marie Rakes. Ash loved her Ford Mustang. She was a hard worker and loved helping people.

Surviving is her children, Emmalynn Mae Nester of Hillsville, Marshall Gage Nester of Hillsville; mother and stepfather, Amanda and Donnie Nester of Hillsville; her father, Charles Louis Bowman of Bluefield, WV; a sister, Asia Laree Bowman of Roanoke; a step-sister, Morgan Smallwood of Willis; a step-brother, Daniel Nester of Meadows of Dan; maternal grandmother, Wanda Quesenberry of Meadows of Dan; paternal grandfather, Wayne Bowman of Meadows of Dan; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Marcus Wood officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
