Award winning student performs at meeting

Camdon Fain and his family were recent guests at a meeting of the Ararat Ruritan Club.

Camdon Fain, a 9-year-old student from Blue Ridge Elementary School, recently won 2nd place at Youth Old Time Galax, and 4th place Youth Old Time Mount Airy Fiddler’s Convention.

Camdon played several of his favorite songs at the meeting and was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Club. His parents, Alicia and James Shorty Fain, grandmother, Jackie Fain, and grandparents Karen and Larry Goins also attended the meeting.
