Brandon Lee France, age 19 of Stuart, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 14, 2019. He was born in Mount Airy, North Carolina on March 7, 2000. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Allen George Blair; great-grandmothers, Ida Mae Blair, Claris Mabe Doss, and Pearl Blackard; and great-uncle, Tom Blair. Brandon loved fishing, hunting, riding four-wheelers, and side by sides. He will be remembered for having a heart of gold and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Brandon is survived by his parents, Melissa Blair and Derek Blackard of the home; brothers, Allen Gray France and Roger Alan Blackard, also of the home; maternal grandmother, Rhonda Blair of Surfside Beach, S.C.; paternal grandparents, Roger and Frances Shelton of Stuart; aunts, Jaimi Blair (Nick Stiebel) of Surfside Beach, S.C. and Jennifer Blair ( Terry Griffith) of Mount Airy, N.C.; uncle, Jimmy Blackard (Terri Blackard) of Rutherfordton, N.C.; special friends, Pete Law, George Law, Rudy Rogers, Sheila Cline, Dennis Reynolds, and Jackie Deny; cousin, Brooklyn; beloved dogs, Outlaw and Dice; and devoted cat, Callie.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the home, located with Pastor Wayne Moore officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Patty Hazelwood, Memorial Gift Chairman, 1988 Wayside Road, Stuart, Va. 24171.
