Brandon Lee Harris, age 40 of Bassett, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at his home. He was born in Martinsville on December 28, 1980. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lucille Wright Thompson and Herbert Thompson; his paternal grandparents, John and Genevieve Harris; and his step grandfather, George W. Harris. Brandon loved bowling and playing softball. He was a 1999 graduate of Patrick County High School and was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife, Jessica Nester Harris; four daughters, Madison Leigh Harris, Kyra LeighAnn Harris, Makinnely Lucille Harris, Kayla Mae Harris; his mother, Beverly Thompson Harris; his father, Rodney Harris; his stepfather, George Harris; his stepbrother, Christopher George Harris and wife, Leann; his step grandmother, Catherine Biggs Harris; and several aunts, nieces, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastors Shaun Draughn and Kenny Daniels officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart before going in procession to the cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
