The Blue Ridge Animal Welfare League (BRAWL) had their first Angels of Assisi spay/neuter shuttle in Patrick County, and it was a huge success, with 14 dogs fixed and vaccinated for rabies.
“We are all working together to help keep the animal population down and save lives,” the agency said in a release.
BRAWL would like to continue this service for Patrick County residents, but it takes funding to do so. If you, or your business would like to sponsor or co-sponsor a shuttle, contact the agency at blueridgeawl@gmail.com for details.
