Brian E. “Pee Whistle” Meador, 36, of Bassett, died Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Moses Cone Hospital.
He was born in Stuart on July 7, 1979 and was a son of Argel Paul and Darlene Foley Meador. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lacy and Irene Meador and Roy Foley; and an aunt and best friend, Edna Mae Meador.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, PJ Meador; two nieces; his grandmother, Ruby Foley; and many aunts and uncles.
The funeral service was held Thursday at Bassett Funeral Service chapel with Pastor Sandy Wright officiating. Burial was in Ross Harbour United Methodist Church cemetery.
