Callie Ann Marie Nicole Crowell

Miss Callie Ann Marie Nicole Crowell, age 18 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville. She was born on July 6, 2004, in Rogers, AR. She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Linda Walker; her great grandfather, Melvin Crowell; an aunt, Chrissy Crowell; and an uncle, Caleb Crowell. Callie was a 2022 graduate of Patrick County High School where she was an Honor Student and graduated with her Associate Degree. She was a cheerleader and Flag Corps Captain. She was active in the Girl Scouts earning her Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award which earned her the Triumph Award. She studied at the Patrick County Dancing Arts Center and was attending the University of Virginia on a full academic scholarship. Callie was a member of Harvest Worship Center.

Surviving are her mother, Leslie Crowell Mordue of Stuart; her siblings, Jonny Crowell of Stuart, Gracie Crowell of Stuart, Micah Keeley Mordue of Stuart, Scott Ragsdale and wife, Dee of Patrick Springs, Chase Ragsdale and wife, Libby of Stuart, Ethan Mordue and wife, Sarah of Spencer; nieces and nephews, Taylor Ragsdale, Mason Cassell, Molly Cassell, Paige Ragsdale, Parker Ragsdale, Ellie Ragsdale; her grandparents, David and Crystal Crowell of Rogers, AR; great grandmother, Jean Crowell of Rogers, AR; aunt and uncle, Mel and Olivia Crowell and their daughter, Cora of Callaway.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Harvest Worship Center with Dr. David Coleman officiating. A private burial will follow.  The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 to 8 at the church. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart is handling the arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
