Chamber to offer grant writing workshop

The Patrick County Chamber of Commerce is offering a grant writing workshop via Zoom at noon on May 12.

The workshop will cover some basic ‘dos and don’ts,’ technical assistance, finding resources and data, and speaking the grant language.

Kathleen McEvoy, Grand Coordinator for the West Piedmont Planning District Commission will lead the Grant Writing Workshop. She is a recent graduate of the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at the University of Georgia. While working on her graduate degree she worked for the Athens Downtown Development Authority, she assisted with public art programs, grant administration, and marketing projects for downtown Athens, Georgia. Kathleen is a native of Roanoke, Virginia.

The workshop is free, but registration is needed.
