obit letterloughCheryl Diane Young Letterlough, age 64, of Benson, N.C., and formerly of Patrick County, died at her home.
She was born on August 7, 1952, and was a daughter of the late Ernest Young and Nancy Cox Young Ramsey. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Pat Young McGraw, and two brothers, Mike Young and Bruce Young.
She was a member of Triangle Church of Christ in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Surviving are her husband, James Letterlough of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheri Martin Wood and Larry of Patrick Springs; one son and daughter-in-law, Kelsey Martin and Pepper of Patrick Springs; stepchildren, Laura Ann Grayson of Elon, N.C., Vincent Jay Letterlough, Lawrenceville, Ga., Troy M. Letterlough of Lexington, N.C., and Harvey James Letterlough Jr. of Asheboro, N.C.; two grandchildren, Josh Martin and wife Gwen and Halo Martin; two great-grandchildren, Brody Martin and Mahala Martin; a step-great-grandson, Braylon Arrington; 19 step-grandchildren; 19 step-great grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Ella Mae Wickham and Rev. Charles of Danville; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles..
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 20, at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 409 Arnett Blvd., Danville, with the Rev. Charles Wickham officiating. Burial will be private.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
