Church to host bluegrass, gospel music events

Sanville Assembly of God will be hosting talented musical groups from this area every Saturday evening starting at 6:30 p.m. for the months of April and May. These groups are well known for their musical excellence as well as the message that their songs express.
Many have received recognition outside of our area including: “New Male Artist of the Year, Eastern Division” by the Country Gospel Music Association (CGMA) in Nashville, Tenn.; featured artists at National Quartet Convention 2013, 21014, 2015; performing original music with many awards; award-winning songwriters and vocal artists featured on nationwide television including PBS , RFD-TV, BlueHighways-TV; and radio broadcasts and featured worldwide on the internet; and those who have ministered all across the US, as well as the Philippines, Canada, Hong Kong, and Puerto Rico.
Performers scheduled include: April 2: Gone Fishin’; April 9: Pressin’ On; April 16: Mark Dubbeld Family; April 23: Jimmy Davis: evangelist/singer; April 30: Swift Creek; May 7: Joe Overfelt; May 14: The Shelton Brothers; May 21: and Roger Wells; May 28: Southern Gentlemen.
A “free will” offering will be taken at each event.
