The Patrick Henry Volunteer Fire Department will hold a hamburger steak dinner fundraiser from 4-7 p.m. The meal will include a hamburger steak, slaw, baked beans, roll, dessert, and a drink for $10. The meals can be eat-in or take out. To place an order, call (276) 629-7677.

The Patrick County Alzheimer’s Group LLC will meet at 7 p.m. in the basement of Hill Tax Service in Stuart. At this meeting the group will begin holding free monthly seminars that aim to inform and equip relatives of those suffering with Alzheimer’s and other caregivers.

Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) will hold a Fab Lab Innovation Camps at the P&HCC Dalton Idea Center and the Patrick County site from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $59, and the camps are limited to nine students. The Patrick County Community Food Bank will hold a food distribution day at the Stuart site from 8:30-11 a.m. and from 5-6:30 p.m. There will be a morning distribution in Ararat from 8:30-11 a.m., and an evening distribution in Meadows of Dan from 5-6:30 p.m.
