E. Everett Quesinberry, age 90, of Norfolk, died on Friday September 16, 2016, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Ararat on June 10, 1926, and was a son of the late Bryant and Ernie Marshall Quesinberry. He was also preceded in death, by a daughter, Diane; and a great-granddaughter, Marlow Lucht.
He is survived by one daughter, Sandra Redenz of Chesapeake, two sons, Stephen Quesinberry of Henrico and Daniel Quesinberry of Conway, S.C.; one brother, Bobby Quesinberry of Clemmons, N.C.; one aunt; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marines. He retired from the Norfolk Police Department at the rank of captain.
A graveside service will be conducted at the Doe Run Baptist Church in Ararat at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday).
