Effie Collins Clifton 90, of Martinsville, died Thursday, April 28, 2016.
She was born February 13, 1926, in Stuart, and was a daughter of the late Frank and Annie Willard Collins. She was predeceased by her husband, Terry W. Clifton, and two sisters, Grace Wagoner and Martha Bowman.
She was a dedicated member of One Accord Baptist Church, and retired from American Furniture Co. with over 30 years of service.
Surviving are her two sons, Leonard Wiggington of Mount Airy, N.C., and James Wiggington of Collinsville; two sisters, Jean Corns of Mount Airy and Lucille Robertson of Martinsville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service was held Saturday at One Accord Baptist Church with the Rev. Phillip Woods officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Burial Park.
