Elaine Hall Wilkinson, 87, of Fieldale, died on Friday, April 8, 2016, at her residence.
She was born on February 6, 1929, in Patrick County and was a daughter of the late Mary Maybelle Martin and Joseph Ralph Hall. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Vance Williams Jr., and her second husband, James Alton Wilkinson; a daughter, Patricia Martin; sisters, Grace Cox, Lucy Hrolenok, Dorothy Clifton, Julia Morris, and Opal Stull; and brothers, Dewey Hall, Ernest Hall, Ralph Hall, and Akers Hall.
She graduated from Meadows of Dan High School. She was a member of Fieldale United Methodist Church and was a member of the choir. She worked at Appalachian Power Company for 34 years where she was an administrative clerk.
Surviving are one son, Michael L. Williams of Fieldale; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Monday at Norris Funeral Services’ Martinsville Chapel with the Rev. Tom Durrance officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Burial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fieldale United Methodist Church, 36 Patrick Ave, Fieldale, VA 24089.
