Frankie Belcher Brammer

Mrs. Frankie Belcher Brammer, age 93 of Woolwine, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on May 19, 1929, to the late Joseph Edgar Belcher and Vera DeHart Belcher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell H. Brammer; one son, Douglas Brammer; her stepmother, Ethel Scott Belcher; three sisters, Estelle Hodgson, Gaynelle McGrady, Pauline Wilmouth; and two brothers, Joe Henry Belcher, and William Franklin Belcher. Frankie was a longtime member of Woolwine United Methodist Church.

Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Vicky Brammer of Woolwine; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Tony Edwards of Winston-Salem, NC; two granddaughters, Kristopher Brammer, Ashlee Brammer Hall and husband, Justin; two great grandchildren, Carter and Hudson Hall; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Woolwine Cemetery with Pastor David Gaylor officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woolwine United Methodist Church, P.O Box 74, Woolwine, VA 24185. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
