Alexis Rodriguez of Girl Scout Troop 1302 in Patrick Springs successfully completed her Silver Girl Scout Award. For her project Alexis constructed a Little Food Pantry that is located at DeHart Park at the entrance to the pool. She has filled it with food that you can take as needed and leave what you can.
Alexis wanted to help people with their food needs as a way to reach out to those around her. This need was one she researched and decided would be a way she could share with others in need. She spent a little over 50 hours completing this project and working with her assembled team.
