Mary Susan Campbell “Susie” Holt

Mrs. Mary Susan Campbell “Susie” Holt, age 68 of Stuart, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, at SECU Hospice Care in Yadkinville, North Carolina. She was born in Patrick County on July 14, 1956, to the late Woodrow and Hazel Lawson Campbell. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Campbell and Connie Ray Campbell; and two sisters, Allie Mae Bullins and Brenda Snow. She was a member of Five Forks Wesleyan Church. She was a CNA for 41 years at R.J. Reynolds Memorial Hospital and at Blue Ridge Nursing Home. Also, she was the first Hospice CNA in Patrick County.

Mrs. Holt is survived by her husband, Kenneth Holt of the home; two daughters, Stephanie Odom of Asheboro, North Carolina and Jennifer Simmons of the home; six grandchildren, Thomas Simmons, Austin Powell, Taylor Inman, Madison Odom, Rachelyn Gonzales and Amberlyn Gonzales; and special cousins, Kathy Ayers and Diane Bowen.

Funeral services will be held at Five Forks Wesleyan Church on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. with Pastors Michael Fain and Andy Pack officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroad Community Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
