A new, young Patrick County vocalist has just released her debut pop single titled “3,000 Miles to Go” this month.
Haley Rorrer is 15 years old and is a rising sophomore at Patrick County High School. She was born in Winston-Salem, N.C., and moved to the Moorefield Store area of Patrick County with her family six years ago.
Haley has enjoyed singing and performing since she was only three years old. In 2010, she placed second in a singing competition with Sonic Records and has never turned down an opportunity to perform since.
Haley will be performing her new single at several upcoming community events, including the Fourth of July Celebration at DeHart Park and the Landmark Family Fun Night on July 23.
Her song may be downloaded on iTunes and is available to be streamed on apps such as Spotify, Rhapsody and iHeart Radio.
She is working on several other new songs, so her fans can expect more music in the near future.
Haley is the daughter of Ryan and Yvonne Rorrer and the sister of three brothers, Zach Tickle and Ethan and Nolan Rorrer, all of Stuart.
You may connect with Haley on Facebook at “Haley Rorrer Music” or by emailing haleyrorrermusic@gmail.com.

Haley Rorrer, a new Patrick County singer, will perform around 4 p.m. at the DeHart Park Fourth of July Celebration.
