Henry “Otis” Smith, 88, of Mount Airy, N.C., died Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, N.C.
He was born in Patrick County on June 17, 1928 and was a son of the late Henry Zack and Rilla Corn Smith. He was also preceded in death by a sister.
He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Nannie Eldean Brown Smith of the home; one daughter, Brenda Faye Smith of Greensboro, N.C.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
