Jesse Lee Puckett, age 86, of Stuart, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016, at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart.
He was born on December 21, 1929 in Patrick County to the late Jeremiah and Florence Bowman Puckett. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Odessa Turner; and two brothers, Lester and Lawrence Puckett.
He attended Fairview Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his wife, Erma Foley Puckett of Stuart; one stepdaughter, Beverly French of Stuart; one stepson, Burdis Barker of Roanoke; three step-grandchildren; one sister, Madeline Hatcher of Patrick Springs; and several nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with the Revs. Kenneth Terry and Allen Dawson officiating. Burial was in the Puckett Family Cemetery in Meadows of Dan.
