obit-jospeh-harbourJoseph Allen Harbour, age 75, of Stuart, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
He was born in Patrick County on March 19, 1941 to the late Charlie Murray Harbour and Mary Pendleton Harbour. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Wesley, Coy and Louis Harbour. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Harbour of Woolwine; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Richard Conner of Stuart; three grandchildren, Ashley Williams and husband Dwayne, April Wright and husband Kevin, and Alan Harbour and wife Christy; three great-grandchildren, Mason Wright, Mackenzie Williams and Carter Williams; two sisters, Dorothy DeHart of Woolwine and Annie Adkins of Hickory, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service was held Saturday, September 3, in the Fairystone Baptist Church cemetery with Pastor Jim Churchwell officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the Fairystone Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Maggie Wood, 82 Fairystone Church Loop, Stuart, Virginia 24171.
