The JV Lady Cougars got a 30-14 win on the road at Dan River, Wednesday, December 11.

Martina Hubbard had 8 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist, and 1 block. Shianne Townsend had 6 points and 2 steals. Bella Wright had 5 points which included a 3 pointer, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Kenzie Sanchez had 4 points, 1 rebound, and 2 steals. Kaylene Garcia had 4 points, 1 rebound, and 2 steals. Meredith Wood had 2 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 assists, and 1 block. Bella Martin had 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Bella Mashburn had 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and a block.

“Tonight, my girls played team ball! I love that they shared the ball and kept positive attitudes. They are settling down and kept composure while we had to fight through some adversity. They worked together and have improved so much over the past week. I am looking forward to seeing their hard work pay off,” said Coach Grace Helms.
