The Cougars hosted Magna Vista on Thursday and won in two sets 25-21 and 25-19. Samantha Harris led the team with 5 kills with Large and Compton adding 3 kills each.

Belcher had 6 digs, and Hopkins again led the team in assists with 14.

According to Coach Ashley Strickland, “Our matches this week really tested our unity as a team to work together in order to win against Carroll County, Martinsville, and Magna Vista. The girls have really come together in regards to completing each task that they faced from our opponents this week. It really makes us look forward to our season ahead.”
