Katie Sue Bowman, 63, of Stuart Virginia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 24th, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 3rd, 1958 in Forsyth County to the late Harry Moyer Sr and Essie Virginia Willard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Imogene Willard, and 3 brothers, David Willard, Jerry Willard and Monroe Willard. She was a faithful Christian who loved her family and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Randy Bowman of the home; sons, David Childress Jr (Dana) and Jason Childress; grandchildren, David Childress lll, Austin Childress (Brooklyn), Levi Childress, Dylan Stokes, Ashleigh Childress, Heather Childress, Sadie Childress, Jacob Kasey (Lauren), Chase Childress (Rebecca), Kady Childress, Kasey Childress and Kelly Childress; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Ernest Willard (Darlene), Johnny Willard, Harry Willard (Tammy), Freddy Willard (Shelby) and Bobby Willard; sisters, Darlene Bradshaw and Irene Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Terry-Barnard family cemetery in Meadows of Dan.  Online condolences may be sent to moodyfuneralservices.com.
