Mr. Kermit Lee Ingram, age 87 of Columbus, OH, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022, in Ohio. He was born in Woolwine, VA on August 25, 1935, to the late Buren and Nova Ingram. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Lonezo, Harrison, Theodore, and Howard Ingram; and three sisters, Cleo Morgan, Betty Vaughn, and Iva Spencer.

Kermit was the Fourth born of thirteen children. He was a proud graduate of Patrick County High School, who joined the United States Air Force, right after graduating High School. He was a man that held all his family in high esteem. Duty, Decency, Hard Working and Loving were all qualities that Kermit possessed. He was a self-proclaimed food connoisseur who could frequently be found at Cracker Barrel and Popeye’s Chicken. He believed in telling no “Bola Bola”, which means always telling the truth. He was a loving and proud father to his children Kermit Jr, Marisa and Amanda Ingram. One of his last few words was, “He Loved all his children equally”. He was a proud grandfather to Kellie and Kalvin Robinson. Kermit’s Grandpups gave him the most joy in his later years. He was frequently found giving his grandpups Popeye’s Chicken and Ice Mountain water. His Amazing life will forever be cherished by his Friends and Family.

Surviving are his children, Kermit Ingram, Jr., Marisa Ingram, Amanda Ingram; two grandchildren, Kellie and Kalvin Robinson all of Columbus, OH; his grandpups, Vito and Sage; his siblings, Ollie Ingram of Akron, OH, Sammie Ingram of Columbus, OH, Bonnie Ingram of Columbus, OH, Joseph and Susan Ingram of Columbus, OH, Faye Clayton of Roanoke, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, VA with Minister Melton Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ingram Family Cemetery in Woolwine, VA with military rites by the Patrick County Veterans Memorial Honor Guard. A wake will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
