The Patrick County High School Lady Cougar volleyball team beat George Washington of Danville but fell to Tunstall last week, both road games.
In last Tuesday’s game in Danville, PC defeated the Lady Eagles in three sets: 25-4, 25-17 and 25-16.
Sydney Biggs had eight kills and 16 aces. Erin Keith had seven kills and one block, while Ashlee Mesot had 13 assists and five aces.
Thursday, the Lady Cougars traveled to Tunstall and fell to the Lady Trojans in three sets: 21-25, 7-25 and 25-27.
Sydney Biggs had six kills, two aces and nine digs. Ashlee Mesot had nine assists and two aces.
The Lady Cougars hosted Franklin County Monday evening and hosted Halifax Tuesday. They will host Martinsville Thursday at 7 p.m.
