Letter: Pollution

Just food for thought…a little simple logic for those who are not scientists.

We have polluted rivers until they caught on fire. We have polluted soil until you can’t grow anything in it. When you put too many bad chemicals in your body there will be bad consequences.

Why on earth do you think we can continue to pollute the air forever and there will be no ill effects? When it comes to the air, many large cities already are suffering from pollution. Whether it takes another few months or 100 years, eventually that pollution is going to get us, one way or another.

To think that we can continue to pollute the air without consequence defies common sense. Whether you deny climate change or not, if we continue to pollute the air at the modern rate, there will be dire consequences for our children and grandchildren.
