A library is one of the most important institutions a town can have. Many small towns struggle to find the money to have a library, but in every town there are those who know the value of books and will strive to fund one.
Families can save by reading the books and watching the movies from the library. You can read the newspapers from your own and other cities. There are programs for pre-school children to learn to read, programs for artists to enjoy their craft, programs for people to exercise, and the programs are for the enrichment of anyone that wants them.
Many people say that everything can be learned from the computer today. Not everyone has a computer, but anyone can use one at the library. You can use the internet connection at the library if you need to also. I hope everyone in Stuart will visit the library today.
Thank you,
Roberta McQuown
