Open advising for the summer and fall semesters at Patrick Henry Community College is Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
During these times, both prospective and returning students have the opportunity to meet with an adviser and register for classes at the Center for New Students in the Walker Fine Arts and Student Center room 228 on the Martinsville campus.
These two days are the last chance to register with an advisor before the summer semester begins on May 23. Tuition and fees for summer classes are due the day of registration.
Before registering, students must apply for admissions (either online or in person) and take the English and Math Virginia Placement Tests. Both can be accomplished on campus in the Walker building. For more information, contact New Student Center Coordinator Travis Tisdale at ttisdale@patrickhenry.edu or (276) 656-0311.
PHCC aims to be an ideal starting point for everyone by offering more than 80 programs of study and the opportunity for seamless transfer with many of the region’s colleges and universities through guaranteed transfer agreements.
In-state tuition and fees for the summer semester are $134 per credit hour and $310.60 per credit hour for out-of-state tuition. PHCC also has over 100 scholarships and other financial aid opportunities available.
