Mrs. Lisa Woods Grona, age 56 of Ridgeway, Virginia gained her angel wings on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Patrick County on March 12, 1966, to the late Johnnie Reece Woods and Frances Marie Coleman Woods. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, David Riley Marshall.  Lisa had worked as a certified nursing assistant in a nursing home and as a private duty caretaker and truly enjoyed caring for all her patients. She had a great sense of humor and loved picking and carrying on with the best of them. Anyone who knew Lisa, knew she loved her family dearly and will be remembered as an amazing wife, loving mother, caring nanny, devoted sister, attentive aunt, and a great friend.

Left to cherish the memory of Lisa is her husband, Rob Grona of the home; three children, Reece Marshall (Beth) of King, NC, Haley Algiere of Martinsville, VA, and Robby Grona of Martinsville; one grandson, Mason Algiere; one sister, Debbie Williams (Ronnie) of Stuart, VA; one brother, Jerry Woods (Tina) of Stuart; several nieces and nephews; her beloved canine companions, Jack and Mya; many dear cousins and special friends.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Ed Hartman and Pastor David King officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Wednesday and at other times at the home of her sister, Debbie Williams. Flowers will be accepted or if desired, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 1427 Edgewood Drive, Suite 101, Mt. Airy, NC 27030. Moody Funeral Home in Stuart has been entrusted with the services and online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
