A lot of Master Gardener teamwork went into building a raised bed with a seat for seniors and children to garden at the Stuart STEP facility as part of ongoing Master Gardener educational program at the site.

Another team of Master Gardeners restored the raised beds at Meadows of Dan Elementary School for children and community educational programs.

The Master Gardeners will have a workshop at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, at the Learning Garden, located at 1208 Tudor Orchard Road. The free workshop will focus on growing Blackberries, Raspberries, Blueberries and Elderberries. The public is invited. Bring a chair.

The Master Gardeners will also host a program on Bog plants on June 17 1:30 p.m. at the Stuart Farmers’ Market. Bog plants will be for sale after the workshop.

For more information on any Master Gardener programs, email mgpcva@gmail.com.
