The Patrick County Master Gardeners presented a check for $500 to the Patrick County Dolly Parton Imagination Library on Friday Night before the First Friday Summer Jam concert. The Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Patrick County is up and running and a partnership between the Patrick County Chamber of Commerce, One Family Productions, Step Inc, and Stuart Rotary.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library of Patrick County is the local chapter of this national program that will assist in providing high-quality books to children from birth to age five- for free. Funds raised locally by

individuals, businesses, and groups like the Patrick County Master Gardeners, ensure every child in Patrick County that meets the age requirements will have a book mailed to them each month.
