Michael Bruce Williams, 69, of Spencer, VA, died on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at his home. He was born on October 16, 1950 to the late Thelma Peters Williams and Joseph Edward Williams SR. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Douglas Williams.
He was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a mechanic in the power plant, The Lord was number one in his life, enjoyed working in his garden and his favorite toy was his backhoe and being around his extended family.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Williams of the home, one daughter, Joyce Michelle Scott of Ringgold, VA; one step-daughter, Kimberlee Miller of Danville, VA, one son, Michael Presley Williams (Leighanna) of Dry fork, VA one step-son, Bradley Dale Brooks (Joy) of Yelm, Washington State, one sister, Judi Hudnall (Walter) of Florida, one brother, Joe Williams, JR (Brenda) of Williamsburg, VA four grandchildren, Trinity; Skyler; Ryker, Jace, special nephew, Andrew Michael Brooks and special friend his neighbor, Tom Tench, his fur baby, Buddy Holley.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at Unity Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Hartman officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church.Cemetery.
Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, all restrictions mandated by the guidelines set forth by the state must be followed.
