Middle School Baseball plays three

The Middle School Baseball Team travelled to Halifax March 14, taking a 11-1 loss to the Comets. 

David Lawson threw 3 innings for the Cougars, striking out 4, allowing 3 hits and 4 runs.  

Reid Corns, Zach Holt, and Jaden Wilson all pitched in relief. 

Lawson was 1-2 at the plate, and Zach Holt had one RBI in a fielder’s choice. 

The Cougars hosted Fieldale Collinsville March 17, shutting out the Cavaliers 11-0.  

Christian Hylton went 3 innings on the mound, striking out 8 and allowing no hits and no runs.  

Greely Terry finished off the game on the hill.  Holt and Wilson had 2 hits each.  Patrick County hosted Laurel Park Monday, March 21, shutting out the Lancers 11-0.  Zach Holt started on the mound for the Cougars, striking out 7, allowing 1 hit and 0 runs in 3 2/3 innings. 

Christian Hylton got the strike out to finish the game. David Lawson and Jackson Callahan had multiple hits while Corns, Carter Gregory, Eric Martinez, Calvin Lancaster, and Holt combined for 7 runs in the 2nd inning.
