PCHS holds awards banquet for Winter Sports

Patrick County High School held their Winter Sports Banquet Monday, March 21.  Among the categories and award winners are:

 

Basketball Cheerleading– Outstanding Leadership Award- Josie Vernon, Most Dedicated Cheerleader- Laurel Puckett

 

Boys Basketball– Coach Andrew Terry, Most Improved- Ty Holt-Stowe, Coaches Award- Payton Stovall, Most Valuable Player- Jai Penn, Best Defensive- Demontez Hill

 

Girls Basketball– Coach Donnie Rakes, Lady Cougar Award- Samantha Harris, Lady Cougar Best Offensive Player- Missy Hazard, Lady Cougar Most Valuable Player- Abby Epperson, Lady Cougar Best Defensive Player- Kimora Wimbush, Lady Cougar Most Improved- Aniya Penn

 

Indoor Track– Most Valuable Distance (Male)- William Overby, Most Valuable Sprinter (Male)- Jordan Harris, Most Valuable Sprinter (Female)- Chloie Wright, Most Valuable Distance (Female)- Irene Smith, Coach Kiran Penn

 

Wrestling- Coach Timothy Lawson, Most Valuable- Joshua Wright, Iron Man Award- Tristan Hardy, Most Improved- Rawl Mabe, Coaches Award-Jaheim Johnson
