Monday Market at Fairy Stone State Park returns for its 13th season with a Spring Pop-Up Market on May 4, 5-7pm, Shelters 3-4. Plants will be featured — vegetable plants, potted plants, landscaping plants, berry plants, and seeds for planting. But that’s not all – there will also be baked breads and sweets, farm fresh eggs, local honey, canned goods, and handmade crafts. You will not want to miss this one.

Approximately 20 vendors are expected to set up for the main market season beginning Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 5-7pm, at Fairy Stone’s Shelters 3 & 4. A varied array of produce, baked breads, baked pies & cakes, farm fresh eggs, local honey, coffee, canned goods, plants, and hand-made crafts such as soaps, birdhouse gourds, crocheted and hand sewn items will be available for purchase.

Please bring cash due to poor cell signal in the area. Parking is free to all markets. For further information, please email fairystonemarkets@proton.me or stay informed by joining the Facebook group page, Monday Market at Fairy Stone.

Live music is being planned in a grassy, shady area so bring a lawn chair to relax a bit after shopping. Make it a fun outing with the seniors in your life and come hungry – Joe Hylton’s Wood Fired Grill will also be on site with delicious BBQ, fried chicken and home-made sides. Varied desserts will be available from the market vendors.

This is a kid-friendly market with a gentle creek to splash in and room to roam in an off-line environment. The Friends of Fairy Stone will have children’s activities as well. Just a heads up: a change of clothes may be needed for your trip home.

This could be the most fun farmers market ever!
