Monday Market at Fairy Stone State Park

Monday Market is set to return to Fairy Stone State Park, each Monday from May 25 through Sept. 7.

Monday Market features a variety of vendors showcasing farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade baked goods, artisan products and more. Visitors can also explore booths offering handmade jewelry, artwork and other unique items.

“The Monday Market is a wonderful way for visitors to connect with our local community while enjoying all that Fairy Stone has to offer,” said Park Manager Adam Layman. “We encourage visitors to spend the day exploring the park’s trails, lakeside beach and, of course, searching for the famous fairy stones that make this park unique.”

Monday Market is held at picnic shelters 3 and 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. every week from May 25 through Sept. 7. Admission is free, and the parking fee is waived for Monday Market shoppers. Most vendors do not accept credit cards or personal checks, so cash is encouraged.

For more information about the Monday Market or to inquire about becoming a vendor, please go to www.virginiastateparks.gov/events or contact Bessie Weber at 276-930-2884 or bessweber@yahoo. com.
