Morgan Griffith’s writings leave much untold about his votes and bills. He seems proud of his vote on the budget bill that cuts nearly a trillion from Medicaid and Chip and the hidden cuts of nearly 500 billion from Medicare. Remember workers pay into Medicare!!
The non-partisan group Public Citizens reports ten Virginia hospitals are at risk of closing due to cuts. Dickenson Community Hospital, Buchanan General Hospital Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital, Twin County Regional Hospital in CD9 are named. Several in Eastern Kentucky have been named as likely to close. So many people have serious diseases such as Type 1 diabetes, cancer, and auto-immune diseases. He never speaks to how many young people and families cannot afford the healthcare insurances without help from the Affordable Care Act. Or the coverage not being available because of a preexisting condition. Of industrialized nations, ours is the only standout for not having universal healthcare coverage.
Trump has claimed there is fraud and waste in Medicaid and Medicare. Griffith doesn’t write about the pardons Trump has given Medicare/Medicaid fraudsters. Samples:

Judith Negron – $205 million in Medicaid fraud scheme 35 year sentence commuted in 2020
Morgan never faces the people as to he talks about waste and fraud like Trump. He’s all in for billionaires to have every policy, tax break. That moves money to the top at the cost to the people and communities in his district.
