The 2026 Miss Woolwine “Disco Fever” Pageant, was held April 25 at Woolwine Elementa ry School in the school Auditorium. This year’s pageant was directed by Yvvette Foley with the help of Brittany Jett, Jeannie Hubbard, Anita Elgin, Shannon Brockway, Janet Snider, Monica Wilson, Mandy Flaneary and Annette and David Harbour.
The pageant featured 19 contestants ranging from Pre-K to 7th grade. Three amazing young ladies come returned to crown, and one former student returned to present the Pledge of Alle giance. Of those contestants and returning students, the pageant was attended by three students from the homeschooling community.
Contestants were Audra B., Stevie D., Maybree F., Charlotte D., Felicity T., Dallas L., Hattie G., Jayda C., Rose M., Sophia S., Elly G., Madilynn S., Oakley M., Jobie D., Makenzie W., Kinsley W., Lyla G., Hayden P. and Dixie S.
Our 2025 Little Miss Woolwine, Kreedynce F., returned to crown the 2026 Little Miss Woolwine Winner, Audra B., 2026 Little Miss Woolwine First Runner-Up and her little sister, Maybree F. and second runner up Hattie G., Kreedynce also honored the 2025 Miss Photogenic, Skye B. in her absence, and crowned our 2026 Miss Com munity, Rose M. and our 2026 Miss Photogenic, Oakley M.
Returning to crown our 2026 Young Miss Woolwine category was our 2025 Young Miss Woolwine Adalynn S. who crowned Kinsley W. as our 2026 Young Miss Woolwine Winner, Elly G. as our first Runner up and McKenzie W. as our second runner up.
Alycia W. returned to crown our 2026 Teen Miss Woolwine’s Hayden P. and Dixie S.
The pageant community raised funds for Woolwine Elementary School and for local food bank projects. Organizers extend their gratitude to each and every person who bought a ticket from the contestants and their families.
Organizers consider this community project to have been successful, and thank the three local businesses who donated the prizes for the proj ect, including Worley Machine Inc., Tuff Times Trucking and Fairystone Storage. Without these amazing donations, the project would not have gone smoothly. Organizers also thanked the par ents, grandparents, guardians and friends who worked so hard to help sell tickets.
This year’s pageant was dedicat ed to Anita Elgin, Mandy Flaneary, and Shannon Brockway in honor of their countless years or service and dedication not only to the pageant but also as superb warrior educa tors.
The pageant was announced by Mrs. Vicky Brammer.
Organizers also thanked Mrs. Pamela McBride of PN’L Prints and More, in Patrick Springs, for a large product donation. McBride redesigned and printed the 2026 Miss Woolwine Pageant Logo for contestant and helper’s shirts, sashes and bags.

Foley said that she is grateful for the opportunity again this year to be able to work with the most amazing staff, parents, grandpar ents and guardians, and expressed her gratitude for another year of working with such amazing young ladies.
“Thank you for the opportunity and we hope to see you again next year for our 2027 “Decades” Anni versary Miss Woolwine Pageant,” she said, and noted the pageant was announced by Mrs. Vicky Brammer.
