Morse lives in the Dry Pond community of Patrick County with her husband Tommy. She attends Creasey’s Chapel Church, where she has served as treasurer since 2013.

Glennda C. Morse, Master Governmental Deputy Treasurer, announced her candidacy for Commissioner of the Revenue in the November 7th general election.

Morse has been employed by the County of Patrick for 22 years serving in the positions of Patrick County DMV Select clerk, Building Inspections permit technician, and currently as a bookkeeper in the Treasurer’s office. She achieved Master Governmental Deputy Treasurer through the University of Virginia Weldon Cooper Center in 2009.

Morse said she enjoys serving and working with the citizens of Patrick County and looks forward to continuing to do so as Commissioner of the Revenue.

“I believe my experience, leadership skills, strong work ethic and my dedication to Patrick County citizens make me the best candidate for the job,” she said. “I am excited about this new venture and would appreciate your vote.”
