Mr. Bobby Edward Adams, age 83 of Patrick Springs, departed his earthly life to begin his eternal life in Heaven on Sunday, October 24, 2021. He was born in Patrick County on November 22, 1937, to the late Willie Marshall Adams and Reavy Reynolds Adams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Junior Adams. Bobby had retired from Frith Construction with over 37 years of service. He was a faithful member of Pleasant View Baptist Church for over 20 years.
Surviving is his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley Turner Adams of the home; one daughter, Princess Michelle Adams of Patrick Springs; one son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Donna Adams of Rocky Mount; one grandson, Brian Chase Adams; two great grandchildren, Grayson Chase Adams, Emma Katherine DeHart; one sister, Mildred Cockram of Fieldale; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
