Mr. Ivan B. Hill, age 75, of Lawsonville, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem, North Carolina. He was born in Stokes County on June 8, 1945 to the late Vance Hill and Mary Tudor Hill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Ashby Hill; his siblings, Ann Marshall, Nancy Hill, Allen Hill, Mary Lynn Gilliam, David Hill, Gerald Hill, and Avery Glidewell.
Mr. Hill faithfully served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and worked for Stroh’s Brewery for 30 years.
Mr. Hill is survived by two children, Kevin Hill and wife, Lula of Stoneville, NC, and Marie Hill Stanley and husband, Mitchell of Westfield, NC; three grandchildren, Jacob, Jonah, and Josh; four sisters, Beth Humble, Margie May, Rebecca Wilson and husband David, and Norma Harbour and husband Steve; one brother, Danny Hill and wife, Betty; one sister-in-law, Peggy Hill of Lawsonville, NC; and one brother-in-law, Andy Glidewell of Greensboro, NC.
